This past Graduation Weekend Baccalaureate Sabbath, SVA Principal Peter Cousins presented the Caring Heart Award to Senior Kai Knowlton.

The Caring Heart Award is sponsored by the North American Division. Each school selects one student who exemplifies a heart of service and a commitment to sharing Jesus with those around them. Congratulations to Kai!

You are invited to attend SVA Graduation Events to celebrate the Class of 2026.

Baccalaureate is at Kettering SDA Church, tomorrow morning at 10:00 am.

Class Night will be held in the Fritzsche Worship and Performing Arts Center at SVA at 9:15 pm Saturday night.

Commencement will be in the SVA Gym on Sunday, May 24.

From Second Grade teacher Mrs. Bianco: "This makes my heart so happy! My 1st year at SVA I taught Kindergarten... this was their first day!! Many of these kids I also taught for 1st and/or 2nd.... today those babies are graduating 8th grade! They humored me and helped me recreate the picture today. 🥰 I made them a video of their K-2 years, and just loved watching them remember those days with me. ❤"

Thank you for being such an important part of their SVA education, Mrs. Bianco!!

Today was SVA Kindergarten graduation. Our Kindergarten teachers captured a few pictures before the ceremony. We are so proud of these students for all they have learned this year, and so grateful for their hardworking and creative teachers for making their year so memorable.

From Elementary Librarian Heather Hardy: "I want to thank those who have met the deadline of May 8 for book returns (which was extended to May 15). We are still missing some books and would like to call on all of our library patrons to do their best to return all outstanding books by the end of this week. All books not returned will be considered lost and a fine equivalent to the replacement cost will be billed to your account after the 22nd of May 2026. We can do it !"
