The Gabby Krause Foundation celebrates the healing power of Joy, Laughter, and Love through Bags of Fun. The signature project of the foundation is Bags of Fun.

We started in 2004 to fulfill Gabby’s wish for every child have a Bag of Fun. Thanks to you, we've delivered 15,000 bags to kids facing illnesses! The Gabby Krause Foundation is a network of caring people who want to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer and other long-term childhood illnesses. Bags of Fun are filled with educational, interactive, and silly toys that give a child

a better day, a smile, and something to focus on other than their illness. To parents carrying a heavy burden, the bags bring relief, joy, and a sense that someone understands. Children are referred to the Bags of Fun program through our ever-expanding network of affiliate hospitals and upon special request.

Meet this adorable 5 year old bag recipient, Margaux! She just had open heart surgery at Children's Hospital and LOVED her Bag of Fun.
Her mom wrote us a nice message of appreciation,
"It is very important to help them from being anxious or scared. Margaux loves everything in the bag. And the first thing she opened is the tablet and headset. Everything is perfect. Thank you!"
Hang in there Margaux...we are cheering you on! 👊

This awesome team from Keller Williams volunteered with us as part of their KW Cares World RED Day! They participate in this every year on the 3rd Thursday in May. RED stands for Renew Energize Donate. We cannot thank this thoughtful group enough for sharing their special day with Bags of Fun🙏 ✨And bonus...Mike stayed to help us unload 168 boxes filled with backpacks into our storage unit✨

Meet the Leavitts! This amazing family has been involved with Bags of Fun from the very beginning!

Kori (2nd from left) babysat sweet Gabby from 2000-2004. Her experience and story inspired her parents to get involved with children's charities back in her hometown of Omaha. Bob, Cheryl and Kori continue to support Bags of Fun in various ways, including charitable donations, volunteer work and attending our many events between Bags of Fun Omaha and Bags of Fun CO.

In 2004, after Gabby passed, Bob wrote an article explaining the impact that Gabby had on his life. He said "She touched my life when I needed it the most. From the bottom of my heart, I say thank you Gabby Krause. I will never forget you or the lessons you taught me."

We are truly grateful for their decades long love of Gabby and Bags of Fun 🙏Thank you to the Leavitts!

WOW! Last week, the Bags of Fun team (and awesome helper from Keller Williams, Mike!) unloaded 168 boxes filled with 2,016 backpacks😲 These Bags will be used throughout the year to bring much needed smiles to children in the fight of their lives.
