And just like that, there are now 64 national parks in the United States! As of today, Chiricahua National Monument has become a national park.

Known as the “Wonderland of Rocks,” this remarkable landscape features towering volcanic rock formations, diverse wildlife, and a rich cultural history. Originally designated a national monument in 1924, Chiricahua is now protected as a national park for generations to come.

At ACMNP, we believe our national parks are more than beautiful places to explore. They’re places where people connect with creation, build meaningful relationships, and experience the love of Christ through community and service.

We’re grateful for the places that invite us to slow down, stand in awe, and encounter God in the beauty of His creation.

75 years of ACMNP, celebrated in the place where it all began. Last month, we gathered in Yellowstone to remember the people, stories, and faithfulness that have shaped this ministry, and to dream about all that God might do in the next 75 years. We are beyond grateful for this incredible ACMNP family and for everyone who has been part of this story. Here is to the next chapter! We hope you'll join us!

This weekend, we are celebrating 75 years of ministry in the national parks in the very park where it all began… Yellowstone.

Our summer 2026 ParkLife season is coming to a close, and what a summer it has been! We had the most incredible group of 240 team members sharing Christ’s love through their work, worship, and service in the national parks.

As our teams work to finish their season strong, transition to life post park, and reflect on how they grew through this season, we ask you to continue keeping them in your prayers. Saying goodbye to these beautiful places and communities is never easy!

ACMNP is hiring!

ACMNP has been blessed to have Paula Misloski serving as a core part of our national office team for many years. She has worked for ACMNP not just once, but twice with a combined total of 8+ years of faithful service to this ministry. It is with sadness, and also with excitement for her and her husband Jim, that we share that Paula’s time with ACMNP will come to a close at the end of this year as they step towards retirement and God’s call to a ministry assignment in Wales. Thank you, Paula, for your years of dedicated love and service to ACMNP! You will be missed and your work has been deeply appreciated!

The position of Administration Coordinator is now posted at www.acmnp.com/about/jobs for those interested in applying. We hope to have a candidate with a start date of mid-September to allow for participation in the Fall Celebration and overlap with Paula prior to her retirement.
