❤️Sweet 11month old purebred female GSP, approx 52 lbs ❤️

Looking for a forever home in📍COLORADO📍

Penny is being rehomed due to a someone in her family having a severe dog allergy, her owner's busy work schedule and needing much more outdoor space and daily exercise than her current family can provide.

✅Great with humans of all ages, a very loving and kind-hearted dog
✅Likes all other dogs of all shapes and sizes, we would love to place her with a male who would enjoy being her playmate
✅Crate-trained
✅House-trained
✅Sleeps on a dog bed in her owner's bedroom
✅UTD on shots and vetting
❓Not cat-tested

Penny is a VERY high energy GSP so she needs a good-sized fenced yard, as well as daily off leash exercise and mental stimulation (brain games/ training etc). She is not suited to life in an apartment or condo. She does pull a bit on the leash so she could benefit from some training but will sit next to her owner if there is another dog across the street. Once she has finished growing, she would be a splendid running partner!

UPDATE: REUNITED!! Gunnar is home safe & sound after 20 hours, 50 minutes :)

💬 Owner's Message: "Our boy Gunnar took off during the storm this afternoon. We've been searching for him for hours. He's never been gone this long and never after dark. He has a bright orange color with a dog tag style tag with my name and number. He's friendly but suspicious of people he doesn't know so might take some work to warm up. He's scared of thunder and loud noises like fireworks and gunshots. We are desperate to find him. If you've seen him, please let us know. If you have him we will come get him, any time, day or night."

This STUNNING 2.5 yr old, 80lb male GSP needs immediate FOSTER placement by tomorrow or he and his owner will both lose their home. He is wonderful with other dogs, working on finding out how he is cats & kids.

His owner works very long hours and the roommate cannot care for him due to having had surgery. The owner is DESPERATE because if Mile High GSP doesn’t find a solution, Bruno will have to be relinquished to a shelter tomorrow.

In a heartbreaking act, Dolly was left in a crowded shelter's overnight drop box alongside three other dogs, abandoned by the people they trusted most. Despite that betrayal, Dolly hasn't lost her faith in people. She still greets everyone with kindness, a wagging tail, and hope that her forever family is still out there.

She is truly an A+ dog. Dolly is amazing with both people and other dogs, walks beautifully on leash, settles quietly in her kennel, and is definitely potty trained. Having spoken to a devastated and inconsolable GSP owner who just lost their beloved young dog due to heat exhaustion, PLEASE help us spread the word about the dangers of exercising pups in this heat.

Have a plan to keep pups cool and occupied inside and only exercise first thing in the morning or last thing at night when air and asphalt temperatures are safe.
