The 2026 TCS New York City Marathon is less than 3 weeks away!

Meet Daniel, he'll be running to support Next Step on November 1st. Some may remember Daniel from our Boston Marathon Team.

Daniel "deeply believes in the work Next Step does to help young adults living with chronic illness rebuild confidence, connection, and community. Growing up is challenging enough on its own; these young adults are navigating all of those same growing pains while also managing a chronic illness. I'm proud to support Next Step's work helping them believe in themselves and in what is still possible in their future."

Daniel will be celebrating his birthday the night before the race and is looking forward to carbo loading with friends and family before and the gifting himself the joy of running 26.2 miles with Next Step the very next morning.

Team Next Step has got 4 runners in the 2026 TCS New York City Marathonon November 1st!

First up is Geoff!

This is going to be his first marathon and we're so glad that he'll be supporting Next Step's programs!

He found us through friends and family who have been involved with Next Step and our mission for several years and he's committed to helping teens and young adults with serious illness see beyond their diagnosis.

He's most looking forward to feeling the energy of the city as he runs and seeing the months of hard work training for this race to pay off.
