CYCLE Kids, Inc

CYCLE Kids, Inc CYCLE Kids is committed to working with schools to ensure the basic rights of children to a physically and emotionally healthy start in life.

https://linkin.bio/cyclekids The CYCLE Kids program is an evidence-based curriculum developed from years of research for elementary schools that teaches kids to incorporate exercise and healthy eating habits into their daily lives. The program addresses three fundamental pillars of success: physical fitness, emotional wellbeing, and academic achievement, through a well researched and comprehensive

health curriculum that teaches 4th and 5th grade students the importance of engaging in daily physical activity and making healthy eating choices. The CYCLE Kids program is based on the premise that good health is holistic: nutrition, physical activity, intellectual stimulation, and emotional well-being are related facets of overall wellness and success. The program uses a comprehensive curriculum that teaches not just the skill and safe practices of riding a bike, but also how to make good nutrition choices; incorporating physical activity, reading, and writing skills. Schools receive all the teaching materials they need, including a curriculum and textbooks, bicycles and helmets, training, and support to successfully teach the program.

Volunteer Spotlight: Jake 🚲

As a CYCLE Kids Advisory Board member, Jake helps connect our program with local cyclists, businesses, and community supporters in Albuquerque.

His favorite part?

"When a child realizes they can do something they didn't think they could, that changes how they see themselves. That confidence carries far beyond the bike."
Thank you, Jake, for helping more kids build confidence, independence, and lifelong skills through bicycling.

A bicycle can change so much more than a child's ability to ride.

At CYCLE Kids, students learn how to ride safely, build healthy habits, and develop skills that extend far beyond the bike. Every lesson is an opportunity to try something new, overcome challenges, and experience the pride that comes from achieving a goal.

A bicycle gives children the opportunity to try, fail, try again, and succeed—building confidence and resilience with every ride.

That's the power of a bike—and the power of opportunity.

Your support helps us bring confidence, independence, and joy to more children across the country.

More kids riding. More kids exploring. More kids enjoying the outdoors with JOY. 🌳🚲

This National Outdoors Month, we’re celebrating the partners who help make that possible.

Thank you to the for supporting CYCLE Kids programs in Albuquerque and helping more children discover the confidence, independence, and joy that come from learning to ride a bike.

When kids learn to ride, they gain more than a new skill—they gain access to outdoor adventures, healthy activity, and the freedom to explore their communities.

🎥 We asked kids: “Why do you like bikes?”
The answers remind us that learning to ride is about more than balancing on two wheels. It’s about building confidence, gaining independence, and discovering new possibilities.

Student Spotlight: Raiza 🚲

“At first, I was nervous because I didn’t want to fall and embarrass myself. But by the end, I could ride confidently.”

Raiza, a 4th grader in CYCLE Kids, discovered something powerful during the program: confidence.

After learning to ride, she surprised her mom by riding her bike at home for the very first time. Her mom was nervous at first because she didn’t know Raiza could ride but quickly became incredibly proud when she saw her confidence shine through.

That’s the impact of CYCLE Kids. Kids build more than biking skills. They build self-esteem, resilience, and belief in themselves.

A bike is more than a bike.

It’s confidence.
It’s independence.
It’s joy.
It’s a child discovering what they’re capable of.

That’s the power of CYCLE Kids. 💙

Need doesn’t always look the way people expect.

Even in schools that appear highly resourced, some students are quietly facing challenges that often go unseen. A low percentage of free and reduced lunch students doesn’t mean every child has the support, confidence, or opportunities they need to thrive.

That’s why programs like CYCLE Kids matter in every community.

Every child deserves the chance to feel included, build confidence, and experience the joy and freedom that comes with riding a bike. Sometimes the children who need connection and encouragement most are the ones no one realizes are struggling.

Sponsor Spotlight: Juan Martinez

Juan Martinez first connected with CYCLE Kids while preparing for the 2025 Boston Marathon. He wanted his race to support an organization with clear, measurable impact — and CYCLE Kids stood out.

Today, Juan serves on the CYCLE Kids advisory board and is helping grow programs in Houston, starting with schools in the Pasadena area. From fundraising to building local partnerships, he is focused on making sure more students have access to the confidence, health, and joy that cycling can provide.

We’re grateful for supporters like Juan who are helping bring CYCLE Kids to more communities and more kids.
