Our driving program is in full swing at Warrior Ranch Foundation, and the smiles say it all!

A special thank you to our dedicated coach and volunteer, Robbie Siegelman, whose passion and commitment make this program possible. We are also incredibly grateful to our sponsor, Meadowlands, for helping us bring these meaningful experiences to our veterans and first responders.

With Sully leading the way, participants are finding joy, peace, and connection as they traverse the beautiful grounds of the ranch. Every ride is more than just a drive—it’s an opportunity to relax, build confidence, and enjoy the healing power of horses.

Thank you to everyone who helps make moments like these possible.

Today, our Warrior Ranch family mourns the loss of a very special soul — Sierra, beloved personal horse of Warrior Ranch founder Eileen Shanahan.

For years, Sierra quietly carried more than riders on her back and friends by her side. She lifted burdens, heartache, anxiety, and pain for so many veterans and first responders who came to the ranch searching for peace. With her gentle spirit and calm presence, she helped countless people feel safe, understood, and comforted without ever speaking a word.

Sierra was more than a horse. She was a healer, a friend, and a steady source of light for everyone blessed enough to know her. Her hoofprints are forever etched into the heart of Warrior Ranch and into the lives she helped change.

Run free, sweet Sierra. Thank you for every moment, every lesson, and every life you touched. You will never be forgotten. Our deepest condolences to Eileen and Jim on this tremendous loss.

Warrior Ranch was proudly represented at Operation VEST’s (Veterans Ending Su***de Together) Dog Tag Run this morning. Sadly the statics still show approximately 22 veterans die by su***de a day. We must do better by our veterans. Please support organizations that recognize that not all wounds are visible. It was great to see a nice turn out in support of all veterans today. We are very proud of Gold Star family sons, Kai and Finn Gronenthal, for once again leading the pledge during the opening ceremony.
