I would like to thank a very generous donor (you know who you are) who paid 100% of the vet bill today for the other 2 babies with calicivirus. They both took a turn for the worse last night with puss from the month sores so bad they were choking on it and an upper respiratory. They received a shot of convenia and more miracle mouthwash hoping they bounce back quickly like their brother did on Monday!!

Just returned from another emergency visit to the vet the other 2 of the kitten needed antibiotics for Calicivirus which I asked them to treat on mondays visit as a precaution

Inquiring minds wanted to know about this super senior cat from HCS and her location after a vet tech was given the cat shortly after the fire! So here is the answer to where the cat is as of august 2025

Just returned from round 2 at the vet today. The babies have calicivirus. 1 has severe and the others mild. Poor baby finally got to eat and drink without any pain. Now the hard part isolating them! Clearing out the craft room for them so they donโ€™t t have to be caged. Antibiotics, miracle mouthwash, and a bag of fluids just in case itโ€™s needed

We could use your help! With spent just under $700 for insulin and needles for one of our former colony cat with diabetes (6 month supply) and purchasing just over $500 of dry and wet food for the community cats in our care we have an appointment Monday for a wellness check and shots for the 4 now 7 week old babies who will be up for adoption after spay/neuter in 3 weeks, vaccines, PCR, and microchipping, and 2nd round of dewormer. The vaccines are $65 per kitten for a total of $260 plus the office visit of $85. Any amount donated is a great help and appreciated. The giving fund will not be available until the end of next week.
