That’s a wrap on Summer Sandlot 2026! ⚾️🥎☀️

Our Single A boys and girls closed out the summer with a good old-fashioned game of Sharks & Minnows… with the coaches as the sharks. 🦈😂

And let’s just say, some of those coaches learned very quickly that chasing Little Leaguers across a field is a lot easier in theory than it is in real life. 😅

Lots of laughs, lots of running, and probably a few sore coaches tomorrow. 😂

Today, our Riverhead Little League Minors Softball District 36 Champions received a Certificate of Recognition from the Town of Riverhead celebrating their incredible season, hard work, dedication, and championship accomplishment! 💙🤍

We are so proud of everything this team accomplished this summer. These girls represented Riverhead Little League and our entire community with heart, determination, and plenty of Riverhead pride!

A huge thank you to the Town of Riverhead for recognizing this very special group and their amazing achievement.

District 36 Champions forever! 🏆🥎💙

Without coaches, these divisions cannot move forward as planned. If you have been thinking about helping, now is the time to step up.
