The North Fork Country Kids:Rescue and Preservation Through Pedagogy We are an all volunteer, foster based rescue. We advocate for abandoned, stray and feral animals by promoting education in rescue. We are a 501c.

We are a volunteer only group whose mission extends to advocacy and education from the very young to the very young at heart promoting our love of animals and our home(long Island). We assist when we can and however possible. We show compassion to all and are a cross curricular/cross generational group that fosters altruism and tenacity.

Lily is wise beyond her years and has one of the biggest hearts we know. She is incredibly selfless, kind, and loving toward the cats and kittens who need our help.

Over the years, she has spent countless hours socializing foster cats and kittens, helping them build confidence and preparing them for their forever homes. Her patience, compassion, and dedication help ensure these animals have the purrfect start to a happy life.

At just 10 months old, these sweet sisters are looking for a family to call their own. Rescued from a Suffolk County hoarding case a few months ago, they’ve come a long way and continue to amaze everyone they meet.

Though visually impaired, Ivory and Pearl don’t let that slow them down one bit. In fact, they navigate their world so well that you’d hardly know they cannot see. They play, cuddle, explore, and love just like any other kittens.

Fully vetted and overflowing with affection, these girls are ready for a forever home filled with love, patience, and plenty of cozy places to snuggle.
