Dorothy P. Flint 4-H Camp Dorothy P. Flint 4-H Camp in Riverhead, NY is a summer overnight & day camp for youth ages 5-16 The Dorothy P.

Flint 4-H Camp is located on 140 acres of woodland, farmland and beachfront adjacent to the Long Island Sound. This natural setting includes a 40-acre work-and-learn farm, low and high ropes challenge course, a nature center, indoor horseback riding arena, riding trails, meeting spaces and open areas for recreation. The camp sits at the gateway to Long Island’s East End with its many natural and h

istoric points of interest. It is accredited by the American Camp Association and uses the principles and missions of 4-H and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County. The DPF 4-H Camp is a “Living Laboratory for Leadership Development” and a “Center for Environmental Discovery”. Children are provided with an atmosphere which fosters independence, leadership development, respect, tolerance and positive self-esteem while having fun and making new friends.

Have you ever wanted to come to camp and lend a hand? Does your child need service hours? Try a community clean-up day at DPF 4-H Camp in Riverhead.

All are welcome - there are jobs for everyone to get camp ready for the summer.

Note: All minors are required to have an adult with them.

Join us for an open house to learn more about the Dorothy P. Flint 4-H Camp for Summer 2026. In each session we will take you on a tour and answer questions about our sleepaway and day camp options.

Location: 3186 Sound Avenue, Riverhead, NY 11901

Sunday, May 17, 2026 - 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Saturday, June 13, 2026 - 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

No registration is required.

Tours will be leaving every hour on the hour. You are welcome to come any time before the hour or stay a little bit longer to enjoy our camp.
