$5 FRIDAY…DO GOOD FRIDAY
This is hard to type…last night I had a call to help a 2yr old dog who had a rubber band around his testicles to “neuter” him😡I won’t post the pictures but the area is black…that was hard to see, and it was hard to imagine the pain this baby has felt for the last several days while it’s been cutting off his circulation and blood flow.
ER visit was going to be $3,000-4,000 after talking to the vet in call he advised to not take band off and get him to regular vet this morning
A scrotal ablation will more than likely be necessary so we are looking at at least $400-500🥺
Then immediately after I was made aware of a case where low income family had a dog with a massive growth behind her ear. It looks horrible! They cannot begin to afford vet care but have had the dog since a pup and truly love her.
I’ll be honest I laid in bed and just cried & held Lucy last night. I never ever ever imagined years ago when I started the rescue all of this horrible stuff would be happening…and back to back😔
Today I’m asking 2 things the second is the most important.
1-donate if you can…$2, $5, $10, $100 whatever you can and feel lead to give.
2-DO SOMETHING GOOD for someone who can’t repay you. Be it dog or human. A kind word, a small gesture….just do GOOD today. Good has to overcome all this evil in the world.
