MY SANCTUARY STORY…BIG LEE💜🐾💜
LEE was actually rescued by another rescue that ended up abandoning him & my precious LUKE when I had the boarding business🥺they had no plan for him.
LEE is considered a sanctuary dog because I do not trust people with him. LEE would have to have a very strong charactered person to lead him. He is very protective of his family. He is alert to any strange sound at the rescue. Any new person he is suspicious of and you have to earn his trust. LEE isn’t aggressive at all, he truly is the ultimate guard.
LEE is powerful and goofy-he is basically a big puppy. He likes to be mouthy in play. He is amazing with other dogs…seriously the Caesar Milan of dogs😉
We have many times put new scared, insecure dogs beside LEE because he has a protective aurora around him. He calms them because he makes them feel safe🥹
I have witnessed him stand in front of a scared shaking small dog when another dog was barking at the little one. He literally stood to block the line of vision to the scared little dog and barked down the other dog until they stopped. I was amazed🥰
We have LEE walk beside new rescue dogs to help give them confidence when they arrive. He was extremely helpful in getting KARMIN & WALKER to walk out of the play yards.
LEE has a forever home here💜🐾💜and IF the right person came along and took the time to earn his trust and I felt they would do right by him I would absolutely let him be adopted but as of now he is a cherished member of our SANCTUARY💜🐾💜
