The MOPS at Belmont Baptist Church regrets to inform the public, we will not be holding our semi-annual fundraiser, Mudpies & Butterflies Consignment Spring Sale. Thank you for your past support, whether you consigned, volunteered, or shopped with us. Belmont Baptist Church hopes to have consignment sales in the future. As moms, it can be super easy to compare (everything) with what we perceive about other moms. . . She is more put-together, her kids are better behaved, she's prettier, she has more money, a nicer car, a bigger house, and thus must have a much easier life.... This, in my opinion, not only steals our joy, but steals opportunity to form stronger relationships, to help someone that you would never know is hurting in one way or another from just seeing external appearances. Let's strive to be a group who loves on each other, prays for each other, relies on each other (knowing others can be depended on). I love each of you and can't say enough what a difference this group has made in my life for the past 8 years or so. Just wanted to share!!
