🕯️🎭 The gaslights have dimmed, the secrets have been revealed, and the final curtain has fallen on "Angel Street (Gaslight)"
And just like that…the Manningham home is quiet once again. ❤️. What an incredible journey this has been!
Players Workshop has been honored to bring this powerful psychological thriller to life. To our extraordinary cast, dedicated crew, fearless director, and every volunteer who helped make this production possible, we cannot thank you enough. And to our audiences…WOW. 🥹
Your applause, kind words, emotional reactions, and overwhelming support reminded us exactly why community theater matters. You laughed with us, gasped with us, questioned everything with us, and hopefully left the theater with something to think about.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and we couldn't let this production close without acknowledging the importance of the story we just told.
Behind closed doors, we never truly know what someone may be experiencing. Sometimes the most frightening monsters aren't hiding in the shadows. Sometimes they're the ones convincing us that the shadows aren't really there.
💜 To anyone who has experienced domestic violence or emotional abuse: You deserve to feel safe, heard, believed, and supported.
