Burlington's First United Methodist Church Making disciples for the transformation of the World! Worship is at 9 a.m. Sunday mornings. Sunday School for adults follows church at 10:10 a.m.

Wednesday Evening Activities begin 5:30-7 p.m. for ages PreK- 5th grade. A meal is included.

As hunger and economic uncertainty increase in families across the U.S. in 2026, Global Ministries is relaunching the Feeding Our Neighbors initiative, with applications accepted from United Methodist annual conferences rather than local congregations.

The revised structure is intended to streamline administration while ensuring broader geographic distribution of resources and stronger coordination of efforts. Annual conferences are encouraged to prioritize support for both rural and urban congregations operating established food pantries and feeding ministries within local churches.
