VIKING MONDAY HAS ARRIVED!

There’s a big ship on the Mississippi and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon! Viking is docked in downtown Burlington today until 5 PM!

Come downtown, grab a picture, watch her make her way along the river, and give our Viking visitors a big Burlington welcome! 👋

But here’s your reminder…we’re getting VERY close to the end of the Viking season!

SPECIAL EVENT: As part of the Burlington Public Library's Americans and the Holocaust exhibit (FREE and open to the public through September 30), make plans to attend a special presentation from Yvonne Aronson, Holocaust survivor, at 1 PM on Saturday, August 29. Prior to that, Chris Green, Chair of the Holocaust Committee of the Quad Cities, will give a special presentation commemorating the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau at 10 AM. Both at the Burlington Public Library in Downtown Burlington, Iowa - FREE and open to the public.
