Supporting children and strengthening our community is at the heart of what Kiwanis is all about. 💙📚 We were proud to provide a copy of "Iowa from the Sky" to 5th-grade students and help support this wonderful opportunity to connect classroom learning with a real-world career. We love being able to invest in the next generation right here in our community!

Every year our Burlington Kiwanis club honors one of our members with the Leroy Award. The Leroy Award is named after a long standing member of the club and recognizes members who have gone above and beyond to not only help with our Kiwanis club but also gives time and talents back to the community as well. Congratulations to Austin Schwartz, this year‘s recipient of the Leroy award.

’Tis the season for pancakes and sausages, and members of the Burlington Kiwanis Club were at Aldo Leopold Intermediate School serving breakfast to students and staff — and construction workers building the new Grayhound Performing Arts Center addition. You can get in on the action May 23 at the Port of Burlington for the club’s annual Pancake Breakfast.
