The Flower Ceremony at France IBCPC 2026 was so moving. There were 24 boats on the water with one representative from each team. The Sisters chose Nikki to be in the boat. The rest of us were on the shore and most Sisters waded out into Lake Bourget. It was beautiful!

Last day of racing in Aix-Les-Bains. All of our supporters joined us at the venue. The format was changed to a 1K race with 1 turn. There was no helms mtg, no instruction about where to go or about the turn — so it made it interesting. Luckily all of the teams made it around. Sisters ended up 27th out of 156th team! Great end to an amazing week for the Sisters.

We are incredibly proud and excited to announce that Australia has been successful in its bid to host the 2034 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival in Sydney! 💗

In 2034, breast cancer paddlers from around the world will come together on spectacular Sydney Harbour for an unforgettable celebration of paddling, friendship, survivorship and the incredible strength of our international breast cancer paddling community.

The 2034 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival will be presented by the newly formed Strength in Unity Trust, with the support of Dragons Abreast Australia.

The Trust has been established with a vision to bring this extraordinary Festival to Australia and create something that will leave a lasting impact well beyond 2034.

There is an exciting journey ahead of us, but today is about celebrating what has been achieved.

Sydney 2034 is happening! 🇦🇺
