Hello WAI Members!

Get an inside look at military aviation with the Vermont Chapter of Women in Aviation! Our February meeting heads to the Vermont Army National Guard Army Aviation Facility for a dynamic panel discussion with CPT Jenny Peterson, CPT Calli Murphy, and 1LT Kayla Sellenberg—three female helicopter pilots flying and leading in uniform.

They’ll share how they became pilots, the challenges women face in aviation, how they balance mission demands with real life, and what it truly takes to succeed in the cockpit. Stick around after the discussion for an optional aircraft tour.

This past weekend, we tabled at the Vermont Air National Guard Open House!

We had so much fun chatting with everyone who stopped by our table. Thank you to our WAI Vermont secretary Rayan for creating an aviation coloring zine for this event!

Thank you to everyone who came out for our WAI Vermont potluck!

for Aviation shared such an inspiring presentation about their work, and we’re so grateful to Kristin for hosting us in her beautiful hangar space.

We can’t wait to see you all again at our next event in October!

Heads up folks! We’d like to provide some quick updates about our potluck this Friday.

- This event is hosted by and in ’s hangar in Middlebury. Thank you for having us Kristin!

- If you are a WAI member, please accept the calendar invite in your email and we will provide you the gate code.

- If you are flying in, please park on the grass in front of Kristin’s hangar. There is no runway lighting at 6B0, please keep this in mind!

- Please bring friends, you do not have to be a member to attend!

Don’t forget, this is a potluck! Please bring a food to share. We’re excited to see you there!

The Women in Aviation Vermont Chapter is thrilled to announce a special International Women’s Day celebration at OnLogic! This exciting event will spotlight the incredible contributions of women in the aviation industry.
