TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE is officially making a comeback with both a TV series and a new movie

A24 has secured the rights to the iconic horror franchise and is moving forward with a television series from Strange Darling filmmaker JT Mollner, while a separate feature film is also in development.

The TV series reportedly won't be a remake of the 1974 classic and will instead explore new stories and expand the franchise's lore. Meanwhile, the new movie is being developed alongside the show as part of a major revival for Leatherface.
