A loosely knit, duct taped together, no arm band gathering to BENEFIT the Ranch

AN ENORMOUS THANK YOU!! The weather was absolutely perfect for Another Grateful Gathering at the non-profit campground we affectionally call "the Ranch". Here are the numbers!! Our weekend generated $7,227 in camping fees and $4,896 in your donations totaling $12,123 or $140,505 in our 19 years!!! So much to be Grateful for!

Thank YOU's go out to all the musicians donating their time and talents - L*D Dave, Mike Handley & Dave Harrill, Hannah's Whirl - Tami & Paul, Andy Brey, Possum Fever - Clay, Diane, Foster & friends, Gracie & AJ, Crackerbilly's, Uncle Moonlight, the Amazing Kelli & friends, John Bois & friends, Jodacious (Jody) and the Tones....and thanks to all of our Grateful morning and late night JAMS

Thank YOU Pat Beach for 19 years of not only working the sound and soundboard for our Gathering's but doing the heavy lifting of all the sound equipment. Also, Paul for the use of your drums and Geno for working hard on those electronic drums.

Another ENORMOUS Thank YOU to all the volunteer workers making a lasting impact on the maintenance and beautification of the Ranch for all to enjoy. This hard work would not have been possible without Jeff Depew, the Ranch's Volunteer Coordinator, Jason & Tammy, Valerie & W***y and Ken, organizing these projects. So much work was done on Thursday to Saturday and continued on Sunday. Please mark your calendar for our 20th year February 11-15 2027. Always 100% of donations and all camping fees generated go to the Ranch.

I know you all are waiting for the final numbers on how we did combining donations & camping fees for our 19th year "give-back" benefit and volunteer work day. It’s Sunday morning, Another Grateful Gathering volunteer work day. Here’s the scoop:

Sunday morning start time is 10 AM. Volunteers…please meet at the Main (big) stage where we can break up into teams. Cynthia is in charge of cleaning out the back room of the youth pavilion, Charlie is in charge of plant removal, Jason is in charge of cabin caulking, Henry is in charge of mulch spreading. We can probably add deep clean the green room to the list. Tammy is a rover and will have supplies for sign cleaning and cleaning walls around the stage and kitchen. Thank You so much for giving back your time and support keeping the Florida Sand Music Ranch, a non-profit campground, a safe environment for all to enjoy!!

WHAT'S UP
Friday Morning coffee, tea & Continental breakfast! Scheduled music starting at 4 pm Pot Luck at 8:00 pm If you don't have a potluck, no worry, just feed the donation bucket. HOB brews will be flowing and some "kick ass" Sangria...both will get you on the dance floor!

Saturday Morning coffee, tea & Continental breakfast under pavilion plus Bloody Mary bar at 10 am (Yes, a change from past years) plus open acoustic pickin' 9:30-11:30 Scheduled music starts at 12:30. Sell-Give-Trade table starting at 11 am. Your unwanted stuff needs a new home! The easiest way is to put painters tape on item with price, free, or trade & cell phone. Potluck 5 pm

Sunday Morning coffee, tea & Continental breakfast. Work Projects begin. For those staying Sunday, "clean out your cooler Pot Luck" 5:30... followed by a jam session

WORK PROJECTS
Please read prior FB post for details on our workday Ranch projects or email anothergratefulgathering.com and I can send a list. Don't forget gloves - for painting or weeding, pruners for invasive plant removal, proper shoes, and painting clothes! If you can't, no problem. You can be on the support team!

REMINDERS
We will NOT be supplying paper goods so please be GREEN & bring your plate, bowl, utensils, drinking vessel, and coffee cup. Don't forget "cash" for Ice, Girl Scout cookies, donation buckets, etc.. Camping fees will be collected on Sat around pavilion (thank you Tammy) at a designated time. Please know your campsite number. Cash, Check or Credit Card are accepted. An event is coming in and leasing the Ranch as of Tuesday. We will need to vacate the premises by 12 noon Tuesday. Hopefully we can have a communal campfire so please add to the wood pile but right now there is a fire ban It’s not necessary to make camping reservations, first come on sites although a few sites in front of Soggy Bottom (SB) Pavilion will be marked reserved for no camping! Music Schedule coming soon, very soon!

GRATEFUL HAPPENINGS
A first at AGG...music on Thursday evening followed by scheduled music on Fri-Sat with an open Jam Sunday evening, all at the Soggy Bottom (lower) pavilion. Music schedule coming soon. Coffee & Continental Breakfast on Fri - Sun mornings. Pot Luck 8:00 Friday & 5:00 Sat & 5:30 Sunday. Come join acoustic picker's Saturday morning along with our Bloody Mary Saturday bar plus "sell-give-trade" your unwanted stuff 11 to noon. Sunday is our official AGG workday (you can participate or not) but if you're getting in Thur or Friday there are some projects that could be started before Sunday. The Ranch will supply all the material. Details on projects, so you can bring your favorite tools, will be coming soon.
REMINDERS
It’s not necessary to make camping reservations (or call)….first come on sites! Camping fees $35 W/E $20 primitive per night & will be collected by Tammy on Sat. under the pavilion at a designated time. Credit Cards accepted but please also bring cash for incidentals (ice, donations, yard sale). Please know your campsite number! Ice is $4 a bag and on the honor system. New Dump Station is $15. There is a fire ban in Hernando County (and most FL counties). You can have a charcoal fire for cooking only but it cannot be on the ground. If something changes, we will let you know.

We are providing the "music and cheer" We ask you to please make a donation in cash or with your camping fees to sustain this magical campground for the next generation of grateful campers. By this time, Another Grateful Gathering #19 is secured on your calendar for President's Weekend Feb 12-16th BUT...what are you doing over Christmas to New Year's? Please join many of us like-minded people at Florida Sand Music Ranch for a relaxed, no festival vibe. No reservations needed, plenty of W&E sites plus primitive sites. The annual boat races (Class and No-Class races) are now held on New Year's Eve Day. The most fun you can possibly have on the Eve of New Year's Trust us!! ✌️🫶🎼

Finally..the weather was a huge factor for our biggest Grateful Gathering of our home away from home that we call the Ranch. Here are the numbers!! Our weekend generated $7,786 in camping and $4,092 in your donations totaling $$11,878 or $127,932 in our 18 years!!!!!!! So much to be Grateful for!
