The Marine Corps 708 Guardian Foundation is a proud sponsor of Multiple Sclerosis.

In MS, the immune system attacks the sheath ( myelin ) that covers nerve fibers. It causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body. Eventually it can cause permanent damage of the nerves , causing many symptoms.

Symptoms range from numbness and tingling, tremors, weakness to paralysis and disability.

The Guardian Foundation will donate 25% of its fundraising special events to the NMSS.

Many Hernando County residents are afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis or know someone with it.

The Marine Corps League Guardian Foundation is donating in hopes the research will find a cure for all afflicted.

The Marine Corps League Guardian Foundation has put it’s best foot forward giving a helping hand where needed over the past 6 months. Working with the Veterans Administration, the Guardian Foundation stopped three veterans evictions. Also helped another veteran prepare for his new career by paying for the necessary equipment needed. We catered lunch to veterans nursing home to show them they will never be forgotten. Recently two veterans were put on the street, both in wheelchairs. We stepped up and put them in hotel room for 3 nights to give the time needed to get them back with their families. We have sponsored the re-enactment of the shot heard around the world. The battle of Lexington and Concorde.
There is no bridge to far that we can’t build for our veterans.
