💥🐾 Meet the MHA Zoomie Crew 🐾💥

You may notice your conference room is currently unavailable.

That is because Monoma, Midoriya, and Tokoyami have officially claimed it in the name of:

✨ chaos
✨ zoomies
✨ questionable decision-making
✨ and absolutely zero concept of personal space

These three adorable pups are 3.5 months old, full of personality, and very committed to their extracurricular activities (which include: running, wrestling, nibbling, spinning, and restarting the chaos immediately after being told to stop).

Two girls, one boy, and all of them are expected to grow into big, beautiful dogs—likely around 50–60 lbs of pure “what is happening right now” energy.

They came in as part of our My Hero Academia crew, and honestly… the name fits.

Because their current superpowers are:

⚡ Teleporting across furniture at high speed
⚡ Turning calm moments into group wrestling matches
⚡ Making direct eye contact while committing chaos
⚡ And convincing everyone that this time they’re definitely going to settle down (they will not)

Monoma thinks he’s the mastermind.
Midoriya is trying her best.
Tokoyami is embracing her darkness (and also your shoelaces).

Together? They are unstoppable.

They’ve already sent two siblings off to their forever homes… and now it’s their turn to graduate from “conference room gremlins” to “family dogs.”

🪑🐾 Meet Garage Sale Gary 🐾🪑

Garage Sale Gary is exactly who you think he is.

He is the guy with a folding table in a driveway at 7:00 AM, a handwritten sign, and a mysterious box labeled “MISC - $3 OR BEST OFFER.”

At 8 years old, this handsome black-and-white senior has clearly lived a full life—and maybe a few lives before that.

When Gary arrived, he had clearly been through it:
He was skinny, his fur was thinning, and he was carrying a whole “I’ve been left out in the elements of life for a while” energy… plus some very unwelcome flea roommates.

But here’s the plot twist:

✨ Vet says he’s healthy
✨ Fur is growing back
✨ Fleas have been evicted (goodbye, absolutely not)
✨ And Gary is SWEET. Like, aggressively sweet about it

Now that he’s feeling better, Garage Sale Gary is showing his true personality: social, friendly, and very ready to lean into your space like he’s trying to convince you that you do need that slightly chipped decorative bowl after all.

He’s the kind of cat who doesn’t demand attention… he just quietly appears next to you like:

“Hey. You look like you could use a gently used best friend.”

Garage Sale Gary is officially back in stock, fully inspected, cleaned up, and ready for his next chapter.

From Foreclosure Frank to Ozzy, this handsome boy is truly thriving in his forever home! ❤️

Since being adopted, Ozzy has settled in beautifully and has discovered some of his favorite things in life: sleeping upside down, playing fetch ("go get it!"), solving puzzles, enjoying a good game of hide-and-seek, and, of course, eating cheese.

When Ozzy first went home, he was understandably fearful and reactive toward people and other dogs. His adopter has been incredibly patient, helping him build confidence one day at a time. Soon he begins formal training, but he has already made amazing progress. He even enjoys visits to the vet now and has been making new friends along the way!

This smart pup has learned several new tricks, including sit, paw, and lay down, and continues to impress his family every day with how much he has grown.

Stories like Ozzy's remind us that sometimes all a dog needs is a little patience, understanding, and a loving home to become the best version of themselves. Thank you to his adopter for giving him the chance he deserved. We couldn't be happier for you, Ozzy! 🐾🏡❤️

🐾 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🐾

We're looking for dedicated volunteers to join our Money Masters Program and help support the homeless pets at the Humane Society of the Nature Coast! ❤️

💰 What do Money Masters do?
🐾 Collect donations from donation boxes at local businesses
🐾 Help maintain and replace donation boxes when needed
🐾 Assist in finding new business locations throughout Hernando County
🐾 Deliver collected donations back to the shelter's Finance Office

Every dollar collected helps provide food, shelter, medical care, and second chances for the animals in our care. 🐶🐱

📍 We're especially in need of volunteers to help us secure new donation box locations, as several of our current locations have recently closed.

🚗 Reliable transportation is required.

This sweet 1-year-old girl is learning an important life skill… how to share her humans 💛

Lola is a small mixed breed (under 24 lbs) with a big heart and lots of love to give. She’s currently in foster care and working on building confidence while she adjusts to life in a home.

She would thrive with a patient family who can help her continue learning and feel secure as she grows into her best self.
