Sometimes healing comes with four paws and a gentle heart. 🐾

At Ezer Mizion’s Oranit Guest Home, children staying alongside their families while a sibling undergoes cancer treatment find moments of comfort in the most unexpected places.

Meet little Lavi, and other young children like him, who are navigating long hospital days and emotional uncertainty.

For them, Balu, our therapy dog, brings a sense of calm, joy, and normalcy through gentle visits, play, and companionship.

In these quiet moments, cuddles, smiles, and soft presence, fear softens and hope feels a little closer.

Because healing isn’t only medical.

Sometimes, it’s a warm paw and a loving heart.

A young oncology patient was transported to a radiation treatment center outside Jerusalem.

After treatment, his condition worsened significantly, developing a fever and a severe adverse reaction. When our driver noticed his condition upon discharge, he immediately consulted with the family and offered to rush him to Hadassah Medical Center for emergency care.

The parents agreed, and thanks to quick thinking and urgent action, the child received critical treatment just in time.

A powerful reminder of vigilance, compassion, and being ready to act when every moment matters!

At Ponevezh Yeshiva in Bnei Brak, over 1,000 yeshiva students joined the bone marrow registry during a three-hour drive filled with incredible energy and goodwill. ❤️

The Kinches Command Center trailer played a key role in making the drive a success, as it does in many similar initiatives throughout the year.

This community has a remarkable impact: while yeshiva students make up about 5% of the registry, they accounted for 27% of transplants facilitated in 2025, highlighting the powerful difference their participation makes.

One drive. One community. Thousands of potential lifesavers.

A dream took flight ✈️

Recently, a young oncology patient facing a serious illness had her wish fulfilled: a special flight over Israel alongside her siblings.

Organized by Ezer Mizion’s Cancer Support Team and made possible with the help of our incredible ambulance team, the day provided a chance to step away from treatments, hospital visits, and challenges, and simply enjoy a beautiful experience together as a family.

Moments like these remind us of the power of hope, joy, and creating lasting memories.

June is National Cancer Survivor Month ❤️

At Ezer Mizion, we stand with survivors and their families every step of the journey, from treatment and recovery to long after.

From medical support and emotional care to practical assistance for families, our mission is to ensure that no one walks this path alone.

Today, we celebrate the strength of survivors, honor the courage of families, and recognize the ongoing support that makes healing possible.

Shabbat Shalom ❤️

“What a beautiful and uplifting gathering. We had the privilege of witnessing a donor-recipient meeting and spending time speaking with the recipient and her family beforehand.”

Moments like these, when a mission from America led by our good friend, Dr. Jonathan Donath, founder of Daily Giving, came to visit Ezer Mizion to witness, in person, what their donations had accomplished and Mordechai Shapiro adding his talent of song to the occasion remind us of the power of life, gratitude, and connection.

Wishing everyone a peaceful and meaningful Shabbat.

Thank you, Daniel Peretz, for creating a truly unforgettable moment that will remain forever in the hearts of our heroes ❤️

Some meetings stay with you forever.

Today, thanks to Ezer Mizion and the support of Daily Giving, a donor and recipient met face to face, two lives forever connected through one selfless decision.

A simple swab turned into a second chance.

A stranger became family.

These are the moments that remind us what one person can do for another. ❤️

A powerful day with the incredible team from Daily Giving during their third historic visit to Ezer Mizion! ❤️

From witnessing an emotional donor-recipient meeting to spending time with the recipient and her family beforehand, every moment was filled with connection, hope, and heart.

We were also honored to have Mordechai Shapiro join the visit!

The family watched his Ezer Mizion clip and absolutely loved it, and even more meaningful, he joined the registry himself!

Every new swab has the power to save a life. Every visit reminds us why this mission matters. ❤️

Last week, Ezer Mizion launched its first evening refreshment cart at Geha Mental Health Center.

Moving from ward to ward, including closed units, volunteers brought hot drinks, pastries, sandwiches, and most importantly, warmth and comfort to patients and visitors.

A special thank you to Michal Sokolovsky and Ezer Mizion’s Mental Health Division for helping bring this meaningful initiative to life and creating small moments of light where they are needed most.
