The Clothes Closet 155 Washington St, Bristol VA will be open Tuesday Sept 1st from 11 til 6. NO income or residency requirements, everything is FREE. (there is a box at the door if you wish to drop a financial donation in but not required by any means) Anyone from the area is welcome to come.. 155 Washington St Bristol VA. Come on out and see what you can find.....
we have LOTS of random items in the Odds n Ends section for PERSONAL use...limit 10 items from that area ages 16 and up. Everything from holiday decor to puzzles to whatnots and dishes, bike helmets, dvds, baskets and tins, fake flowers, and so much more.. and as always no limits on any CLOTHING other than baby clothes...
bookcase is still available and if you need something else specific ask when you come in, we might have it, just not out on the floor...
We DO accept donations of clothing etc but ONLY on the days we are open so if you want to donate, please bring then and PLEASE make sure its clean.

We still have a bookcase or whatever you want to use it for available its about 6' tall ... bring help to load it, goes to first person to get out the door... need something else specific such as set of dishes or maternity clothes? ask when you come in, we might have it, just not out on the floor...

Thanks to everyone who came out today and found items!! we served 378 people today and people came in from all over...for those of you who came from Honaker, Haysi, Clintwood, Grundy and other parts of SW VA we're glad you visited with us and hope you were able to find things you could use!!! IF you couldn't come today, the next time we'll be open will be the 3rd Tues of the month and you're welcome to come then... remember only one visit per month is allowed but you're welcome to come back next month if you came today!!! feel free to share with everyone you know!!! it amazes us that even though we've been doing this 33 years there's still so many who don't know about us...

We've been supplying between 300 and 350 people every time we're open lately so we just ask, please be considerate of those who might not get there at 11 am...yes we do try to put out new items as we can but that is depending on how many volunteers are there on the days we're open.
