Who are we? Thanks to Calvary Baptist Ministries, Inc. was founded in 2019 by Missionary Denny Mitchell. A 501c(3) non profit faith based organization, Thanks to Calvary has served many unhoused people across the nation mainly in Bristol, VA area where God gave them a work. Starting as a day center in 2020, Denny and his wife, Melissa, along with several volunteers served countless unhoused individuals providing them with many necessary resources such as a hot meal, showering facilities, laundry facilities, and most importantly the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. The day center ran for five years when the Lord led them a different direction in 2025. Now, Denny and Melissa provide a drug/alcohol/tobacco free facility to those in recovery needing a place of support until the guests are able to get back on their feet and re-enter society. It is TTCBM’s belief that the only help anyone has is through our Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ. He is the answer!
