For Pete’s Sake Animal Rescue (www.forpetessakerescue.com) is a 501c3 organization (Bristol, TN) devoted to saving animals by finding qualified homes or owners and also finding interested families to foster unwanted and neglected animals. Ada Flaherty and her “For Pete’s Sake” team locate animals that have been placed in local shelters and are scheduled for euthanasia, treat them for any illnesses

, have them fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered and place them in foster homes prior to adoption. To date, we have facilitated in rehoming over 1,700 dogs and cats since we became a non-profit organization. The name of our organization is in memory of a sweet boy named Pete.

Adorable Alex, he is one of the most sensitive, sweetest, well-behaved boys ever. He is 60 pounds of love and affection. Everyone that meets him falls in love he gets along well with other dogs, cats, kids, humans, big and small he is house trained, crate trained walks well on a leash and is a big ham.
