In Loving Memory of Brother Roy Lee Moore 70 Years of Masonry
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Brother Roy Lee Moore, a faithful member of King Lodge No. 461 for more than 70 years.
Just last November, we had the tremendous honor of presenting Brother Roy with his 70-year Masonic service pin and certificate at our annual awards banquet. At 94 years young, he stood before his Brothers and shared memories of his Masonic journey, reflecting on the friendships, fellowship, and the impact Freemasonry had made on his life.
It was a special evening that those of us in attendance will not soon forget. We are grateful we had that opportunity to recognize him and thank him for his remarkable dedication to our fraternity.
We ask all Brothers who are able to please join us in paying our final respects to Brother Roy.
The funeral service will begin on Wednesday October 21st at 3:00 PM, officiated by John Davis, followed by a Masonic Committal Service in the Garden of Masonic at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park in Blountville, TN.
Brothers attending the Masonic Committal are asked to gather at 3:20 PM.
Seventy years of Brotherhood is an extraordinary legacy. Let us come together one final time to honor a Brother who devoted so much of his life to our Craft.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Brother Roy’s family and friends.
Rest well, Brother Roy. Your work is done, and your memory will remain with us.
