🐾 Get to know the faces behind the kennel doors. Each of these dogs is more than just a shelter resident—they’re someone’s future best friend, hiking buddy, couch companion, and family member. Could one of them be yours? ❤️🐾
🖤 BRONX 🐾
At just 1 year old, Bronx is still very much a puppy. Like many young German Shepherds, she has energy to burn, a sharp mind, and a huge desire to learn.
Unfortunately, growing up in a shelter isn’t easy for a young dog. Bronx needs an outlet for all that shepherd energy and an adopter who understands that training, structure, and exercise aren’t optional—they’re essential.
The good news? Bronx is sweet, eager to please, and has all the ingredients to become an incredible companion in the right home.
✅ Experienced dog owner
✅ Active lifestyle
✅ Structure and routine
✅ Training-minded home
✅ May do well with male dogs
❌ First-time dog owners
❌ Low-energy households
Could Bronx be your next adventure buddy?

🐾 BUTTERS & FIGGY ❤️

Butters has so much love to give once he feels safe.
🤍🐾 MEET FIGGY 🐾🤍
Don’t let the barking fool you.
Like many shelter dogs, Figgy struggles with the chaos of kennel life. Behind the kennel door, she can be loud and stressed, but once she’s outside, you’ll meet a completely different dog.
This beautiful 5-year-old girl is sweet, easygoing, affectionate, and loves simply hanging out with her people. She previously lived with her housemate Butters and enjoys the company of other dogs she knows.
Figgy isn’t asking for much—just someone willing to look past the kennel and see the wonderful dog underneath.
✅ Sweet and affectionate
✅ Calm and relaxed outside the shelter environment
✅ Enjoys spending time with people
✅ Previously lived with another dog
❌ Judging her based on kennel behavior alone
The shelter can be overwhelming, but Figgy deserves a chance to show you who she really is. Come meet her outside her kennel—you might just fall in love. ❤️

🐸 🐸❤️ MEET FROGGIE ❤️🐸
Please don’t judge Froggie by what you see through the kennel door.
The shelter can be loud, stressful, and overwhelming, and Froggie doesn’t always show his true personality while surrounded by the chaos. But ask to meet him outside of his kennel and you’ll discover why he’s become a volunteer favorite.
This handsome 5-year-old pit bull is affectionate, easygoing, and loves spending time with his people. One of his favorite things to do is make little “biscuits” with his blankets before settling in for a cozy nap. He’s the perfect combination of playful and snuggly.
While Froggie would likely enjoy being the center of attention in his own home, we’ve seen positive interactions with other dogs and believe he may be able to have dog friends with proper introductions and time to decompress outside of the shelter environment. Froggie can take a little extra time warming up to some men, so he’ll do best with someone who understands his needs and is thoughtful and responsible when making introductions to new people.
✅ Adult-only home preferred
✅ Loves people and affection
✅ Structure and routine
✅ Exercise and enrichment
✅ May be able to have dog friends with proper introductions
❌ Cats
❌ Someone who judges him solely by kennel behavior
The real Froggie isn’t the dog barking behind kennel bars. The real Froggie is the sweet, goofy boy waiting for someone to give him a chance.
Come meet him outside his kennel. We think you’ll fall in love. ❤️
