Our organization is dedicated to supporting local initiatives, such as the Girls On The Run 5K, which we are thrilled to be involved in. We also enabled local High School girls to attend the Girls Career Institute in New Brunswick at Rutgers University’s Douglas College, where Lauren Bowser, a member of our team, spoke about career opportunities. Additionally, we were pleased to be in attendance on Division Street with Rick St. Pierre, owner of Verve Restaurant, as he received the Lloyd D. Silverman Downtown Somerville Alliance Entrepreneur of The Year Award, a prestigious honor recognizing business leaders who have significantly contributed to the community through their innovative spirit, leadership, and service. Given Rick’s extensive contributions, including a previous Citizen of the Year award, it’s fitting that he received this honor, which celebrates the entrepreneurial legacy of Lloyd F. Silverman.
