The JKGC members are back at it! 🐐💚

We kicked off the new 4-H year with our first meeting on Tuesday! Members worked together in groups on a breeding and conformation activity, putting their knowledge to the test while learning from one another.

We’re excited for another year of learning, teamwork, and all things goats! 🐐🍀

We are so incredibly proud to announce that our very own Vice President Jasmine was named the new 2026-2027 Somerset County 4-H Agriculture Ambassador. This is an amazing honor!! After applying and becoming an Outstanding 4-Her earlier this year. Jasmine was then surpised to find out she has been chosen by the 4-H Association to be the Somerset 4-H Ag Ambassador.

The 4-H County Ag Ambassador role is a high level youth leadership honor. Jasmine will act as an official spokesperson and representative for the 4-H program and local agricultural events. The ambassador uses public speaking, civic engagement, and interpersonal skills while promoting 4-H to the community. Jasmine will be presenting at the 2026 New Jersey State Agricultural Convention in Atlantic City this January as well at smaller events.

We are so excited and proud of Jasmine and can't wait to see her representing us at all of the events she is appearing at!! 💚🐐
