Cane Creek is all about building bikes that ride great, and this week we want to see bikes that look great too. Streamers, lights, pool noodles, handlebar bouquets: anything goes as long as your bike is still safe to ride. You'll race as usual, but the podium goes to the two best-decorated bikes, picked by our judges and the crowd. Get creative and give us something to cheer for.

We're kicking off Dust 'Til Dusk with Orbea and flipping the podium on its head. This week, speed won't win you anything. The podium goes to the riders who finish right in the middle of the field. Go too hard and you're out of the running. Go too easy and you're out too. You won't know where the middle is until the last lap, so ride smart, have fun and aim for perfectly average.

Ride the Hub's new backyard trails with us every week this October! There's a route for every rider, from first-timers to fast legs. Expect special race awards each week, prizes for the kids, and plenty of fun swag. It's free to ride and open to everyone.

Every Wednesday in October:
Oct. 7 with - middle of the pack
Oct. 14 with - best decorated bike
Oct. 21 with - reverse handicap
Oct. 28 with - best costume

Bring your lights! Dusk comes a little earlier each week, so come ready to ride into the dark 🌌

Pisgah Area SORBA is growing, and we're looking for two people to help us build better trails and a stronger stewardship community in Western North Carolina.

Field Operations Coordinator: lead volunteer trail projects, mentor Trail Crew Leaders, and support Hurricane Helene recovery work in the Pisgah Ranger District alongside the U.S. Forest Service.

Volunteer Engagement & Events Coordinator: grow our volunteer community, make every workday welcoming, and lead signature events like WNC Bike Fest.

What better way to celebrate National Public Lands Day than by giving back to the trails we all get to enjoy? 🌲🥾

This year’s Bent Creek Dig-In brought our community together for a full weekend of trail stewardship, riding, camping, and celebrating our public lands.

We kicked things off Friday evening with a reception at the North Carolina Arboretum. A huge thank you to for welcoming and hosting us, and to for providing the b**rs and generously sponsoring the entire Dig-In weekend! 🍻

Then Saturday morning, it was time to get to work. Volunteers headed out into Bent Creek alongside our Trail Crew Leaders to spend National Public Lands Day doing exactly what it’s all about: showing up and taking care of the places that belong to all of us.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, swung a tool, shared a meal, joined a ride, or simply came out to be part of the weekend. Our public lands are special because of the community that cares for them. 💚

And another huge thank you to Sierra Nevada and the North Carolina Arboretum for helping make this weekend possible!
