It’s time for our quarterly cleanup of “Waterfall Highway.” On Saturday, June 27 (one week away!), a group of dedicated waterfall lovers will pick up litter along a 9-mile stretch of NC 215 north of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Will you help us? We meet at 10am and the cleanup takes only a couple hours. It’s a rewarding way to spend a Saturday morning.

Even shallow water can become dangerous when:

⚠️ algae make rocks slippery
⚠️ flash flooding occurs upstream
No photo is worth risking your safety.
