Rather than our typical monthly social ride, this month we will join with others across the country in a . Tomorrow, May 20, we will meet at the Jimmy Harris Railroad Depot at 6:30pm. This intentional and reflective Ride of Silence is a way to honor and remember those who have been injured while riding their bikes. We hope you’ll join us.

If you have a student at one of these schools, please join us next Wednesday, May 6 to celebrate. 🎉

Our friends are aiming to get 300 letters written to our local representatives by Friday 2/27 in support of H.R. 7353 Magnus White and Safe Streets for Everyone Act of 2026.

The bill mandates that all new vehicles under 10,000 pounds include automatic emergency braking (AEB) systems capable of detecting cyclists, pedestrians, and other vulnerable road users under all conditions. This critical technology could save thousands of lives each year by reducing collisions and fatal crashes.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 25 we will kick off 2026 with our first social ride of the year. 🎉

We will meet down at the Jimmy Harris Railroad Ave Depot Park at 6pm and roll along the Estatoe Path over to our friends .

Today is the day! Join us tonight (1/28) from 6-8pm at Brewing (212 King Street) with a short program beginning at 6:30PM. 📆

We will celebrate Brevard Bike Alliance’s accomplishments over the last year and look ahead to what we’ve got planned for 2026! We hope you’ll grab a buddy, come celebrate with us, and share your thoughts for how BBA can serve our community moving forward. ⏩

We will also be raffling off some locally sourced goods. Tickets are available for purchase at the event and you must be present to win. If you volunteered with us in 2025, you will automatically be entered to win so c’mon down folks! 🎟️

One of our favorite events each year is Walk, Bike, Roll to School Day! This year we had 6️⃣ participating schools in Transylvania County with over 175 students and parents riding with us. We always celebrate twice a year - May and October.

This year we had an additional opportunity to work with one of our local schools when we co-hosted a Traffic Garden at a local elementary school. We were excited to help 29 students gain confidence on their bicycles! Thanks to our friends and for making it happen!

This Wednesday at 6pm, we will celebrate all of our accomplishments from 2025 and look ahead to BBA 2026 events. There will also be a handful of locally sourced raffle prizes! Grab a buddy and cmon out!

In 2025, we hosted 7️⃣ bike valets and parked over 570 bicycles, one-wheels, strollers, etc. 🎉

We partnered with organizations and businesses such as and more to support their events with Bicycle Valet Service. Not to mention the many many businesses that lent us racks, tents, and parking lot space to make it happen.

Thank you to every volunteer who signed up for shifts and ALL OF YOU made it happen by choosing to ride! 🚲🛹🛼
