Last June, Katie and Mac welcomed their son Blair into the world (see the little squish above 😘) and stepped into the beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming transition of becoming parents.

Like so many families, they were navigating the challenges of new parenthood when their lactation consultant connected them to Roots Family Collaborative. They showed up — and found their community. Katie joined Blossom Mom when Blair was just six weeks old, and from that first group, she knew she had found the support she needed.

This is what Roots does.

Every week, more families walk through our doors looking for support, resources, and connection. This month, we’re raising $10,800 to keep Roots growing and ensure the next family finds exactly what they need when they need it most.

Will you help support another parent by making a gift today? Every donation strengthens families, supports mental health, and builds a healthier, more connected community for all of us. Link to donate in our bio....

Next Up: Palisade Falls (Plan for up to 1 hour travel time to Hyalite Canyon!)

Palisade Falls is a stunning 80-foot waterfall tucked into the Hyalite Canyon south of Bozeman, cascading dramatically over towering volcanic cliffs. A short, family-friendly paved trail leads visitors through a shaded forest to the base of the falls, making it one of the most accessible and popular hikes in the area.

Fresh Air Families is a weekly summer program designed to help caregivers connect with nature, their families, and each other while exploring Bozeman’s beautiful trails and parks.

This is a no-judgment, no-expectations group that welcomes all families — including expecting parents. Whether you’re up for a full hike or just a short stroll, you’re invited to join at your own pace. Stop for snacks, turn around when needed, and come as often or as little as you’d like. The whole family is always welcome — including dads, partners, grandparents, and caregivers of all kinds.

🐶 A quick note about pets: For the safety and comfort of all participants — especially our littlest hikers — we kindly ask that dogs stay at home. Thank you for understanding!

TOMORROW!

Meet at 9:15 AM | Hike begins at 9:30 AM at the Cherry River Fishing Access.

This trail loops through a bird preserve with wide gravel paths (good for big-wheel strollers). Bring binoculars and try the Merlin Bird ID app — a great chance to see waterfowl, songbirds, and even raptors.

Fatherhood changes you.

It can be one of life's greatest joys—and one of its biggest adjustments. The truth is that mental health affects dads too.

We believe every parent deserves connection, support, and a community that understands the realities of raising children. Because parenthood is a team sport, and supporting fathers strengthens families.

Whether you're expecting your first child, navigating the newborn days, chasing toddlers, or figuring it out as you go, you don't have to do it alone.

💙 Dads, your well-being matters.
💙 Your experiences matter.
💙 You are not alone.

Dads Group meets the second Wednesday of every month from 5:30–7 PM and is open to dads in all stages of fatherhood.
