We are the ONLY nonprofit in the nation that also has programming for women and the LGBTQ+ community. We believe girls from all backgrounds and income levels should have access to the transformative power of the great outdoors. Since our inception, we have awarded over $385,000 in financial aid. To this day, we have never turned away a girl in financial need. We want to welcome you to join our com

The Trailblazers program at Women’s Wilderness is proud to announce a new Mindful Monday Yoga and Meditation Series with our friends at The Phoenix, a nationwide nonprofit network of volunteers and events dedicated to providing affirming spaces that support sobriety and community building.

The Phoenix model leverages the transformational power of connection and human resilience to build a sober movement. We’re not just dealing with a substance use problem, we’re facing an epidemic rooted in social isolation. Trailblazers is grounded in community and healing, which makes this partnership with The Phoenix an ideal space of support.

🗓️ When: 6-7:30pm, Monday April 27, 2026
📍 Where: Women’s Wilderness Headquarters, Boulder, CO

Join us this Friday, 5:30-8pm, April 3 and the REI Denver Flagship Store for an inspiring event celebrating Women's History Month.

The evening will feature keynote speaker and founder of Backcountry Pulse, Raquel Sapp. Her talk, “Redefining the Finish Line,” invites us to slow down, notice what’s right in front of us, and reclaim the power to write our own stories. Especially in a culture that celebrates speed, podiums, and fast finishes.

You'll also have the chance to meet our incredible partners: author of "No Man's Land" Becky Jensen, Latasha Greene of Jitterbug Art Studio and Sarah and Brett Bowlin of Bowl & Kettle.

📍 REI Denver Flagship Store (1416 Platte St, Denver 80202)
⌚️ Friday, April 3 | 5:30-8pm (Program begins at 6pm)
👥 All are welcome! The event is appropriate for ages 10+ and the building is ADA accessible
🎟️ Pay what you can ($15 suggested donation)

The Art of Mending is about building practical skills that increase confidence and self-reliance. It’s about sitting shoulder-to-shoulder, sharing stories while learning simple hand-stitching techniques that can be used time and again. It’s about remembering that empowerment doesn’t always arrive in grand gestures, sometimes it’s found in the steady rhythm of a needle moving through cloth.

Come stitch with us. Let’s practice resilience, one thread at a time.

One day left to join the Outdoor Girlboss Giveaway!

How and where we spend our money matters. When we buy from and support local, woman-owned, or BIPOC-owned organizations we're taking a stand for the world we want to live in.

That’s one of the reasons we joined the Outdoor Girlboss Gear Giveaway, hosted by Symbiosis Gear. Three winners will receive gear bundles valued at over $5,000.

You win gear, and woman-owned companies get more attention. That's a win-win in our book!

The giveaway is open Feb 18-25. Link in bio to learn more and enter 💜

Win over $5,000 in prizes from women-owned brands!
