Service Spotlight: Walk to End Alzheimer’s!

Today, APO showed out for CU Boulder’s Buffs Big Event by supporting the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research! Our volunteers helped direct attendees, assisted with event performance, and cheered on walkers along their route! We had a wonderful time supporting such an important cause and are so grateful to have been a part of it!

This weekend, some of our volunteers had the opportunity to visit a local nursing home and spend time getting to know the residents. We had so much fun sharing stories, playing games, and making connections, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

This week, we took some time to slow down and connect by writing letters to family and friends!

And, of course, we can’t forget our police sketch activity from a few weeks ago… which resulted in some truly questionable portraits!
