Help us travel this summer to rural villages in Eswatini to install the Manzimbongolo suspension bridge and the Monyovu school clean water system.

Cornell University Engineers In Action (CUEIA) students seek to combat rural isolation and protect public health in the Kingdom of Eswatini through sustainable infrastructure design and implementation.

We works alongside professional mentors and local communities to design, optimize, and implement our two yearly projects: one pedestrian footbridge and one clean water system.

Our WASH projects have decreased water-borne illness incidence at rural schools, improving learning conditions and public health.

While in-country, students live on a homestead with the local community, developing critical interpersonal and intercultural skills, while also gaining hands-on engineering experience. We build lasting bonds and memories with the community.
