Five of the six candidates running to be Boulder’s next mayor joined KGNU and the Boulder Reporting Lab for a debate this afternoon.

Candidates answered questions about experience, housing, homelessness, trust, public safety, and wildfire mitigation. Present were Aquiles La Grave, Taishya Adams, Aaron Brockett, Jameson “Jamo” Goldstein, and Lisa Ann Jacobs. Fred Smith was not in attendance.

On Tuesday, we hosted our first two bands live from our brand new performance space at our GNU Community Media and Cultural Center in downtown Boulder! A huge thanks to A Place For Owls and The Burroughs for helping us wear in the new digs. Super thanks to George Figgs for his excellent sound engineering and to our on-air hosts Alex Lauria and Jules as well. ❤️

This is one of many exciting new beginnings for KGNU as we fully move into our new space. We are so thankful for all the community spirit and support that has made this move a reality for the station, our volunteers and our listeners.
