Introducing our final visual artist for the series, Matt Huntanar!

Growing up in eastern North Carolina, Matt did not discover painting until he relocated to Boone in 2017 and took a class at the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts. His work reflects his many adventures along the Blue Ridge Parkway and in the Pisgah National Forest. In his paintings, he hopes to capture the airy light feelings of joy, hope, and peace that can be found by those who amble in the Blue Ridge mountains.

We can’t wait to see what Matt creates as TANASI plays on August 20! Don’t miss your opportunity to bid on his artwork in the silent auction during the concert.
