Team Sunergy is Appalachian State University's Solar Vehicle Team. We design, build and race solar vehicles around the world.

The Appalachian State University Solar Vehicle Team is driven to harness the power of the sun as an alternative energy source. It is comprised of students from a variety of majors who push the boundaries of renewable technology by creating Appalachian's first competition-ready solar vehicle. We are excited to announce our new Solar Car!

While it may be heavier than expected and lack basic aerodynamics, our passengers are looking forward to having adequate air conditioning and a 360 view around the car! We have also decided to have the sun directly energized the passengers instead of the car ☀️
