We want to thank Jackson Sumner & Associates for the generous gift that came from their crock pot cook-off! The Children's Council is known for our work with children, families and educators, but one of our top priorities is our work culture and how we treat our staff. We absolutely love to see other businesses that make it a priority to take good care of their team and have fun whenever possible!
(I hear the winner was a fabulous chicken chili...yum!!!)

Happy 'Support Your Local Chamber' Day, Boone Area Chamber of Commerce !
We at the Children's Council couldn't imagine this community without the support of the Chamber of Commerce. Whether it's bringing the importance of childcare to the forefront, advocating for early education, helping to fund improvement efforts or jumping in with both feet to make sense of the chaos after the hurricane, we never cease to be amazed at the lengths they will go to in order to make Boone a better place to live for everyone. If you don't know this incredible team of people, you are missing out!
