Great turn out last night at the Blue Side tryouts! New parents were able to connect with current parents and board members, getting some of their initial program questions answered.

Hey Red Side community (West End families), there is still time to register for next week. New parents will receive the same welcome and opportunity during the first night of tryouts, to start asking questions on what to expect once their player is rostered. www.billingsalbaseball.org

Since 2020, Blue Side has celebrated 61 graduates—and 40 have gone on to compete in college athletics. 🔹That's a 66% commitment rate.🔹

It's a number we're proud of because it represents something bigger than recruiting statistics: athletes finding their next opportunity. Our job isn't to promise every player college baseball.

It's to give athletes a place to compete, develop, be challenged and discover how far they want to take the game.

Their next step belongs to them. We help prepare them for it.

Tryout registration ends today, and the first session starts at 5:30pm. Don't miss out.

A baseball program should prepare athletes for more than the next game.

Since 2003, 66% of Red Side graduates have committed to continue competing in college athletics.

That includes 116 college athletes, three MLB draft selections and one MLB free agent. Those numbers are worth celebrating—but they aren't the whole story.

There are 177 graduates behind those statistics. Young people who learned to compete, work alongside a team, respond to adversity and commit to something bigger than themselves.

Some continued playing. Some didn't. Success is what they're prepared to do next.

Tryout registration is open for red side -> https://www.billingsalbaseball.org/page/show/9571873-2027-tryouts-and-registration

American Legion Baseball began in 1925.
The game has changed quite a bit since then. The important stuff really hasn't.

Sportsmanship. Teamwork. Loyalty. Physical fitness. Citizenship. Character.

Today, thousands of Legion teams compete across all 50 states and Canada—and millions of athletes have worn a Legion uniform during the program's first century. We're proud that Billings is part of that story.

The next season starts at tryouts. Get registered before Monday.

The bus rides.
The dugout conversations.
The teammate who picks you up after an error.
The road trips.
The ridiculous inside jokes nobody else understands.
The game you thought you'd lost.
The one you'll still be talking about ten years from now.

We take development seriously.
We also know these kids only get to be kids playing baseball for so long.

Build the player.
Build the teammate.
Make some memories along the way.

There's still time to register. www.billingsalbaseball.org

We're not going to pretend competitive baseball doesn't cost money.

Fields. Coaches. Umpires. Facilities. Equipment. Travel. Tournaments. Insurance. There are real costs behind every season.

What we CAN do is work hard to make those costs manageable.

BALB provides fundraising opportunities that can allow athletes to offset up to 100% of their player fees, while our organization continues working to grow club support and reduce the burden placed on families.

American Legion Baseball has long emphasized bringing athletes together regardless of economic background. We want opportunity determined on the field—not by who can simply write the biggest check.

Billings has more baseball now. And we're here for it.

The addition of high school baseball changed the Legion calendar—but it didn't change our commitment to player development. 💖We support our athletes representing their schools.💖 High school baseball is our partner and has played on our field. We staff concessions for those games. Then, when the school season ends, Legion Baseball gets to work.💪 Did you know we're nearly 100 years old? We're part of a district/state/regional, and national championship network.
Tryout registration is open now. https://www.billingsalbaseball.org/page/show/9571873-2027-tryouts-and-registration

Montana. Wyoming. Idaho. Nebraska. Canada. And beyond.

Our schedules are built before the season begins to give athletes consistent opportunities to compete against strong programs—and additional games can be added when coaches see a developmental opportunity for their team. 30+ games, played closer together to see real learning happen.

Different teams. Different towns. Different situations.

Because development doesn't happen by playing the same baseball, every other week.
