Yellowstone Valley Gives is almost here 💙

In just a couple of days—April 30 to May 1—our community will come together to support local nonprofits.

This year, our focus is the Yellowstone River.

It’s something many of us return to, often without even thinking about it. And right now, it’s something we have the opportunity to care for in a more intentional way.

We’ve been sharing a bit about this work over the past week, and we’re grateful for everyone who has taken the time to read, reflect, and connect.

✨ A $5,000 matching gift will be in place during the event, helping each contribution go further.

If the river means something to you, this is one way to be part of its continued care.

We’ll share more as we get closer—but for now, just a quiet reminder that it’s almost time.

Yellowstone Valley Gives is next week 💙

April 30 – May 1, our community comes together to support local nonprofits—and we’re honored to be part of it.

At Our Montana, our focus right now is the Yellowstone River.

It’s something many of us return to—sometimes without even thinking about it. And right now, it’s asking for a little more attention and care.

We’ll be sharing more throughout the week—thank you for being here with us.

We’ve been working to bring people together across the river corridor—supporting stewardship, access, and connection—and this is one way you can be part of that work.

✨ A generous donor will match gifts up to $1,000 during the event

If you’d like to support now, you can give directly through Our Montana.
Or join us during Yellowstone Valley Gives and be part of the momentum.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that shows up for the places that matter.

The Yellowstone River is part of life here in Montana.

It’s in the places we return to.
The quiet moments we don’t always think about.

And right now, it’s changing.

We’re beginning to focus more of our work on understanding and caring for the river—together with others across the corridor.

If it matters to you, you’re already part of it.

04/16/2026

We’re honored to be part of Yellowstone Valley Gives this year 💙

April 30 – May 1, our community comes together to support local nonprofits—and we’re grateful to be included.

At Our Montana, our work has always been about connecting people to the places that shape life here in Montana.

Right now, that focus is turning more fully toward the Yellowstone River—
a place many of us know in our own way, and one that is asking for a deeper kind of care and attention.

This is the work we’ll be supporting through Yellowstone Valley Gives.

In the coming days, we’ll share more about what this looks like and how you can be part of it.

If the Yellowstone River is a place that matters to you, we invite you to take a moment to read more:

🎄✨ Merry Christmas from Our Montana ✨🎄

As snow settles across Montana’s landscapes and we gather close with the people we love, we’re filled with gratitude for this extraordinary place and the community that cares so deeply for it.

This year brought meaningful progress — from preserving historic sites and illuminating the Bozeman Trail, to advancing Yellowstone River education, archaeological research, trail connectivity, and sharing Montana’s stories through film, digital projects, and community conversations.

We invite you to take a few quiet moments this season to explore our Christmas 2025 Newsletter, where we reflect on the work accomplished together and look ahead to the stewardship still to come.

Thank you for being part of Our Montana’s journey — for caring about our rivers, trails, history, and the stories written across this land.

May your holiday season be filled with warmth, peace, and the enduring beauty of Montana. ❄️💛
