I'm going to be shutting down Zekey's Friends. When I close down the foundation account tomorrow I will Venmo all remaining funds to families currently battling pediatric cancer.

This season of life is proving to be hard to maneuver. I need to focus on being a good, kind, and patient mom to my babies. Giving myself room to breathe and feel hard things while working through them.

I hope in the 2 years of doing this, we have helped some families and lightened their suffering hearts. I really appreciate everyone who has pitched in in anyway. Thank you for caring.

Tons of devastating news today. A couple local kids have just been diagnosed with cancer, lymphoma and dipg specifically. Another little boy who completed treatment for leukemia has relapsed. I will help these families in any way that I possibly can. I will post their gofundme's if they choose to make any.

Also please remember how to help us help them:

• Unused gift cards, I will re-home them.
• Aluminum for recycling, I will come pick up bags of these.
• The Maker's Market sells candy bars to benefit the foundation. Go buy some.
• Buy a toy or two for when these kids have hospital stays or visits.
• Go to your local blood bank and donate blood or platelets.

Hug your kids. Love them. Treat them sweetly. Buy them ice cream.
