🍕🙏 We had a special treat yesterday as the love Kitchen came out to the shelter yesterday! They completed our Sunday with free pizza, and we couldn't be happier! A tasty meal pared with good friends and great weather was the perfect cap to our weekend. 🌅🍴

❤️‍🩹Part of the road to recovery and prosperity is doing hard things that often feel overwhelming. Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 9th, our friend and guest at the shelter, Tammy, will be undergoing a long-awaited and much-needed hip surgery.

For her, surgery will be a frightening but necessary experience, but she is meeting it with her signature hopeful smile. Anybody who knows Tammy knows she is always ready to help and encourage people around her. If you're having a rough time, Tammy is the first person to offer cheer and a shoulder to lean on.

This is why we wanted to share her story and ask our amazing community for its support and prayers as Tammy takes the next very important step on her road to recovery. If you have a prayer and would like to put it in the comments, we will make sure Tammy gets the chance to read each one. Everyone at the Mission knows it would be a huge blessing.
