We had a great Volunteer Appreciation Night with our wonderful volunteers!! We created turkey cut outs for our Thanksgiving program tomorrow and made cards as well. Pictured in this post are some of our volunteers :) Come out tomorrow for our last program of the semester from 1-3 PM!

✨Adopt-A-Grandparent has wrapped up the semester with a Great Gatsby inspired night to remember! We’d like to give a special shoutout to Legacy Reserve at Fritz Farm for another wonderful partnership this semester as well!

We are preparing for our very last program of the semester! It is going to be a Great Gatsby themed party, similar to our Masquerade and Prom programs in the past. It will take place at Legacy Reserve in Lexington on Saturday, April 27th. We will be leaving from Alumni Circle at 5 PM and return to Berea promptly at 9:30 PM.

We ask that your attire be something you would envision to have been worn at a Gatsby party in the 1920's, but whatever you feel most comfortable in is always welcome. Please RSVP by Thursday the 25th by 5 PM if you would like to join us!

We are very excited to invite you to our special Gatsby Gala 🎊 on Saturday April ️27th which will take place at the Legacy Reserve at Fritz Farm, Lexington 🏤 We will leave from Alumni Circle at 5️:3️0 PM and we will return to Berea around 9️⃣️ PM. Make sure to RSVP!

This is going to be one of our biggest programs, so we want to have everyone there who can make it! The dress code💃 will be business/formal attire 🕺👔👗However, if this afflicts with your comfort level or any other situation, please come as you feel most comfortable❣️

We are very excited to announce that we will have a special program this Friday, March 15th. This program would be Big Blue March Madness Party at Legacy Reserve in Lexington with lots of food, UK Themed cookies and live DJ! Feel free to wear your blue pride colors! This event will feature halftime performance by the Berea College Cheerleading team!!

We will meet at Alumni Circle at 4:45 PM and promptly leave at 5:00 PM. We will return back to Berea at 9:00 PM. We hope you will join us to watch the UK game and to make your bracket with the residents!

We would like to inform you that we will not be having our regular shuttle hours on Wednesday this week. But, in an opportunity to unwind, we are inviting you all to our first special program which will take place on Friday, February 22nd at the Legacy Reserve in Lexington. We will leave promptly from the Alumni Circle at 5:15 PM and return back no later than 9:00 PM. This will be a Karaoke themed night, so please wear something fun and be prepared to sing with the residents! Please RSVP to us by Thursday so we can prepare for everyone attending.

Tomorrow is the day! We will have our volunteer training in the Stephenson Building in room 208 (activities room), this will be the only training offered this semester.
✅Wednesday, January 30th from 6-7 PM
❌We would also like to remind you that during this training you will have the opportunity to have a TB skin test performed by a nurse at no cost to you, which is a program requirement.
❌If you have proof of a negative TB skin test or volunteered with us last semester you will not need to attend this training but we look forward to seeing you February 6, for our first shuttle 4:30- 6:30.
