📣 Let’s hear it for Head Coach Logan Pisula! 📣

•Swam with the Lexington Dolphins, Madison Southern Eagles, and Berea Dolphins (see last pic!)
•Graduate Assistant Swim Coach at Campbellsville University (responsible for training, practice planning, and athlete development)
•Coached 4 mid-distance swimmers; all achieved national cuts, selected to attended NAIA nationals as alternates.
•Head Coach of Berea Dolphins( led practices and oversaw development for ~100 swimmers)
•Site Coach for Berea Swimchester Sailfish (focused on technique, performance, and progression)
•Assistant Coach at University Club at Arlington
•Experience coaching athletes of all skill levels with emphasis on fundamentals, consistency, and confidence

📣 We’re excited to welcome back Coach Kristin Ramsay! 📣

-Swam on the Crestwood Cobras summer team in Ohio
-Worked at the local Rec Center as a lifeguard and swim instructor through high school and college
-Swam for EKU’s club swim team
-Coach for Berea Dolphins and Swimchester Sailfish Berea campus
-While I have experience through the years of several different sports and training styles, with the help of my husband (former Dolphin coach and swimmer) John Paul’s knowledge, I have built effective methods and teaching styles to encourage kids to work through fear or anxiety to discover the joy of swimming well.
-I love continuing to learn and develop my own strategies to build technique and strength.
-I have 6 kids, all of whom have participated or are currently participating in the Dolphins program.

📣 Let’s welcome back coach Nate Fairchild!! 📣

I started my swim career freshman year of high school competing for Berea Community. The following summer I joined Berea Dolphins. I swam with both teams all throughout high school and joined Lexington Dolphins Club Team in 2022. After graduating high school, I committed to Centre College to continue my academic and athletic career as a Colonel. I had the opportunity to coach the 11-12 year old age group for the Dolphins last summer, and am happy to be back for another great season.

Over the next few days we will introduce our coaches for the 2026 season.

📣 First up is Sergei Bellucci! 📣

Sergei has been a lifelong summer team swimmer since the age of 4. After offering lessons in highschool and maintaining lifeguard experience, he coached his home-neighborhood team for 2 seasons. All while swimming for Triton Swim (USA) and Trinity Highschool for 4 years, and swimming for UK’s Club Swim team for 2 years. Since then Sergei has coached with the Berea Dolphins in 2025 and has been coaching the Swimchester Sailfish (USA).

🏊‍♂️ Swim Team Eligibility Reminder 🏊‍♀️

As we prepare for the upcoming summer season, we want to make sure all swimmers are set up for success and safety in the water. To participate in our summer swim team program, swimmers should be able to independently swim the full length of the pool using both freestyle and backstroke.

If your child isn’t quite there yet but is somewhat comfortable and independent in the water, we’d love to see them in our Junior Dolphins program next spring! It’s a great way to build skills and confidence to get them ready for the team in the future.

If you’re unsure whether your swimmer is ready, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help guide you!

We're excited to announce that registration for our 2026 Summer Season is just around the corner!🐬

Registration Dates:

Returning Families: Opens May 1 at 12:00 PM

New Families: Opens May 2 at 12:00 PM

Online Registration: www.bereadolphins.com

Season Details:

The season will run from late May/early June through mid-July with practices held each week Mon-Thur mornings between 8:00–10:30 AM at the Berea Pool. There will be a few Friday practices as well.

Swimmers will be placed into one of two practice sessions during that time frame. Session assignments will be shared at the parent meeting.

Meets are usually on Wednesday evenings. Warm-ups at 4 or 4:30 and Meet Start is at 5pm. Finalized practice/meet schedule and conference date will be provided at the parent meeting.

Program Update:

Please note that we will not be offering a Junior Dolphins program this summer. We will continue to offer those sessions during Spring Clinics in 2027.

Cost: Registration is $125 per swimmer and includes a team shirt and swim cap.

What You’ll Need: Swimmers will need to provide their own plain black meet suit. We’ll share links to recommended options soon.

Parent Meeting: We will hold a required parent meeting on May 18, with two identical sessions available at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Location will be shared soon.
