We are honored to be recognized as one of the recipients of the 34th Annual William and Helen Doyle/Exchange Club Community Service Awards!

Thank you to the Sturgis Area Community Foundation and the Exchange Club of Sturgis for investing in programs that strengthen our community and create opportunities for local youth.

This generous support will help Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Southwest Michigan continue providing safe places, caring mentors, and life-changing experiences for young people in the Sturgis area.

Congratulations to our fellow award recipients, Sturgis High School and the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts. We are proud to stand alongside organizations that are making a positive impact throughout our community.

Together, we are helping young people learn, grow, and succeed.

We are thrilled to announce the recipients of the 34th Annual William and Helen Doyle/Exchange Club Community Service Awards, presented in partnership with the Exchange Club of Sturgis MI!

Through the William & Helen Doyle Fund at the Foundation, these awards honor charitable and educational programs that benefit the Sturgis community. Established in 1991 by William and Helen Doyle, the Fund has awarded more than $145,000 in grants to over 100 local projects and programs.

This year, we're proud to share that $5,500 has been awarded to three outstanding recipients:

A huge thank you to United Federal Credit Union for their generous support of Unity Day 2026!

This summer, Club members from across Southwest Michigan will come together at our Fettig Youth Campus in Benton Harbor for a day filled with teamwork, leadership, friendship, and fun. Unity Day is one of our most anticipated annual traditions, bringing together youth from Benton Harbor, Benton Heights, St. Joseph, River Valley, Bridgman, Buchanan, Niles, Sturgis, White Pigeon, and Eau Claire to celebrate what it means to be part of the Boys & Girls Club family.

United Federal Credit Union's sponsorship helps make this incredible experience possible and reinforces their commitment to investing in the next generation of leaders.

Music, movement, and creativity were on full display at our St. Joseph Club during a special Children's Music Workshop hosted by Paige Mulick from Citadel Dance & Music Center.

Members explored rhythm, movement, and self-expression while building confidence and having fun alongside their peers. Thank you to Paige for sharing her talents and helping create a memorable experience for our youth!

Our Bridgman and River Valley Club members had a blast during their field trip to Skate-A-Rama! From skating around the rink to cheering each other on in the arcade, the day was filled with laughter, new experiences, and unforgettable memories.

Field trips provide opportunities for youth to build friendships, gain confidence, and experience new activities outside of their everyday routines. We love seeing our members learn, grow, and have fun together!

Night Court is back, and registration is now open!

We're excited to kick off another season of Night Court at the Boys & Girls Club Teen Center. This year, we're excited to introduce a Girls Night Court League, creating even more opportunities for local youth to get in the game.

Night Court is more than a basketball league. Throughout the summer, participants build friendships, develop teamwork and leadership skills, connect with mentors, and become part of a positive community.

Players will be selected for teams through the Night Court Draft on June 18 before taking the court for a summer of weekly competition.

Registration is open now at the Teen Center. Participants must be Boys & Girls Club members to join.

Innovation has no age limit.

Led by Di’Andre Hureskin, students from our Teen Center and River School came together for an eight-week entrepreneurship experience designed to help them think creatively, work collaboratively, and bring their ideas to life.

Throughout the program, these young entrepreneurs identified challenges, explored solutions, and developed projects that reflected their unique interests and perspectives. Their presentations showcased not only their ideas, but also the growth they achieved along the way.

While the program focused on entrepreneurship, the greatest outcome was something even more important: confidence.

We are proud of these students for believing in themselves, sharing their ideas, and discovering what's possible when they're encouraged to dream big.
