We are reaching out with love and compassion for a beautiful 83-year-old lady living in Benton Harbor.

She is in need of a comfortable chair, something simple but meaningful that can bring her rest, dignity, and comfort in her daily life.

In the spirit of service and kindness, we believe that small acts of love can become great blessings in someone’s journey 💛

If anyone feels guided to help or donate a comfortable chair, please reach out to us.

May we continue to be instruments of care, light, and compassion in our community.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Today we celebrate all mothers — the ones who give life, the ones who nurture, the ones who welcome, the ones who pray, and the ones who love with all their hearts.

Moms, remember: Mother’s Day is every day.

It’s found in the small acts of love:
in the breakfast prepared with care,
in the bedtime conversations,
in the tight hugs after a difficult day,
and in the time dedicated to our children even during the busiest moments of life.

A mother is presence.
She is care.
She is love that welcomes, guides, and remains forever.

And to make this month even more special, we would love to invite you and your family to a fun, lighthearted, and memory-filled evening at our Disney Trivia Night!

The event will include:
• Disney trivia games and team challenges
• Prizes and Disney-themed souvenirs
• Family-friendly fun and laughter
• Disney-inspired snacks and drinks available for purchase
• A chance to dress up in your favorite Disney outfit or cosplay

Whether you come with a team or join on your own, there’s a place for everyone to enjoy the magic together.

A beautiful opportunity to create memories, share smiles, and enjoy the simple moments that make family life so special.

We hope to see you there for a night filled with joy, connection, and fun.

With love,
OUR HOUSE OF THE WAY TEAM

Today, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the sponsors who made it possible for us to create our raffle basket, which included gift cards and a Whirlpool toaster.

Your support helps make the work of OUR HOUSE OF THE WAY possible, and we are truly grateful.

Congratulations to our winner — you are very lucky!

Thank you for being part of our community and supporting our mission.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9

Doing good is not always easy—but it is always worth it. Every act of care, every helping hand extended, every moment of service creates an impact, even when we do not see it immediately.

Yesterday, we gathered as a community of volunteers at OUR HOUSE OF THE WAY—people who choose to remain present, care for one another, and make a difference together.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who was present, and also to those who support us and wished to be there but, for specific reasons, were unable to join us. You are part of this mission.

It was a truly special moment—connecting our hearts through actions of good.

If you feel called to serve, to build connections, and to be part of something meaningful, we invite you to join us.

Today we had the joy of celebrating with the children, educators, principal, and staff at Martin Luther King Elementary School in Benton Harbor.

Being with the children was truly a lovely and meaningful experience for our OUR HOUSE volunteers. Their joy, curiosity, and openness remind us how important it is to plant seeds of love, awareness, and responsibility from an early age.

A special thank you to UNICEF Club Berrien County for being part of this project! Together, we planted, talked, and expressed ourselves through drawings—making it a meaningful day to reflect on such an important topic that must be part of every child’s life.

Environmental awareness is one of the core missions of OUR HOUSE. We believe that when we care for nature, we are honoring God’s creation and nurturing life in all its forms.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this day so special. And a heartfelt thank you to Teacher Tameka Lashay for the invitation—it was truly a blessing to be with you all.

Let us continue to care for the environment and teach our children to do so with consciousness, respect, and love.

With gratitude,
OUR HOUSE OF THE WAY Team
