On Love, On Charity - Love in Action!

We have achieved so much as a world.
Materially, we have evolved. We have technology, abundance, knowledge.

And yet... as humanity, we still crawl.
Because we still allow hunger. We still allow poverty. We still allow human pain to be normal.

We are a divided humanity. But have you noticed?

There are so many, many pure and beautiful souls doing good in silence! No cameras. No applause. Just quiet hands serving, quiet hearts praying, quiet love in action.

Do you feel this calling in your heart? That soft whisper that says: "I came here to do more than just live for myself?"

Here at OUR HOUSE, we work in silence, connected heart to heart. We don't work for recognition.

We work because we simply believe in the power of Good. We believe, that charity is not just giving what we have left - charity is love in action. It is the soul remembering who it truly is.

CHRISTMAS SPONSOR PROGRAM 2026
Our House of the Way in Partnership with When Roses Bloom

Christmas is a time for love, kindness, and sharing with those who need it most.

Since 2018, Our House of the Way has been working to bring Christmas joy to children in families experiencing financial hardship. This year, we are especially grateful to partner with When Roses Bloom, allowing us to work together with greater strength, care, and organization to reach children whose families are facing the greatest financial challenges.

WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY!

We invite community members to join us in this mission, whether by becoming a Christmas sponsor, helping provide gifts, or referring a family who may genuinely need assistance. Every act of kindness makes a difference. Together, we can help make Christmas magical, meaningful, and full of love for children who need it most!

Registration is now open for children living in Benton Harbor, Michigan (ZIP code 49022).

A heartfelt request to parents and guardians:

Please complete the registration form only if your family is experiencing genuine financial hardship and truly needs assistance this Christmas.

Our goal is to reach families who are struggling to meet basic needs and may not otherwise be able to provide Christmas gifts for their children. Your honesty and understanding help us direct our limited resources to those who need them most.

Together, we can reach more families!

We know that many wonderful organizations in our community are also working on amazing Christmas initiatives. If each organization reaches a different family, we can collectively help even more children experience the joy of Christmas. By working together rather than duplicating efforts, we can extend kindness and support to more people in our community.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

A separate registration form must be completed for each child.

Priority will be given to families experiencing the greatest financial hardship.

Submitting a form does not guarantee that a child will receive gifts. Assistance depends on sponsor availability and donations.

Our mission is about more than giving presents. It is about sharing love, restoring hope, and reminding children and families that their community cares about them.

If your family truly needs assistance, we welcome you to apply. If you know a family in Benton Harbor who may benefit from this program, please share this post with them.

Do you have gently used furniture in good condition—like these pieces—sitting unused in a corner of your home?

What may no longer be useful to you could become something truly meaningful for a family in Benton Harbor.

To one person, it may be “just a piece of furniture.”
To another family, it could be the table where they share their meal together, the dresser where their children’s clothes are finally put away, or the chair where a mother can sit and rest after a long day.

Sometimes, a new beginning starts with something as simple as a table, a bed, a dresser, or a chair.

Let what you no longer need become a blessing in someone else’s home.

Our House can pick up your furniture and deliver it, with care and dignity, to a family who truly needs it.

FREE Medical Clinic If you or someone you know does not have health insurance or Medicaid, you can receive free basic medical care through Southwest Bridge Health Medical Clinic.

⏰ 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 100 Main Street, Benton Harbor No appointment is necessary.

Simply stop by during clinic hours and receive the care you need.

At Our House of the Way, we believe everyone deserves access to healthcare with dignity and compassion.
